October 15th, 2013, Edmonton, Canada——Hilong Canada celebrated the completion and launching of a coating line on September 26th in Edmonton, marking that Hilong Canada has successfully extended its business lines from drilling tool sales and hardbanding to coating services, which reflects Hilong's determination to deepen its globalization strategy, and will lay a more solid foundation for Hilong's development in North America.
This new coating line is applicable to a series of API drill pipes, oil pipes, casings and delivery pipes with a diameter less than 10 inches and maximum length of 45 feet.

The opening ceremony was held from 11am to 3pm. Attendees included Alberta's Energy Minister Ken Hughes, Alberta senator Teresa Woo-Paw, government officials at Leduc (the county where the company is located), and representatives from internationally recognized energy service companies including Ensign, Horizon, Trinidad, and Saxon.
