(May 3, 2014, Shanghai) Hilong recently won two of three natural gas pipe inspection projects from PetroChina Beijing Gas Pipeline. Hilong will provide inspection service for a total of 345 kilometers of pipeline, marking Hilong’s formal entry into the pipe inspection business.
Hilong introduced advanced inspection technology and equipment from NDT Global, a German globally leading pipeline inspection company, in October 2013, and has developed professional inspection technology and services on this foundation through the establishment of Shenglong Petroleum Pipe Inspection Technology. The new company offers internationally leading pipeline integrity management and ultrasonic pipeline inspection systems, providing self-developed electronic, mechanical, sensor, software, and ultrasonic technology inspection and assembling while striving to continuously improve inspection service quality.
